So the new school year is back in full swing and I’m getting ready for another term filled with Zobotics and making.
This week I’ve been looking at how to expand the skills of a group of children from a school that I’ve worked with for a few years now.
They love robot wars – goes without saying doesn’t it?!
The problem with having such a fun challenge is you have to then think of even better ones the next time you work with the same kids!
Luckily for me that is not too difficult.
We’ve done some maze solving before, but I’m going step it up a bit this time as the students will be racing down to the middle for chocolate – yep, any excuse to eat some of the good stuff! – with bonus points for getting it out quickly too.
I love open ended challenges and with this one I will be throwing in extra points for imaginative ways of picking up and delivering the chocolate to its owner.
Can’t wait to see what they come up with…I shall update next week hopefully with some fab photos.
In the mean time I really should get this maze painted…
